Buffalo Zine n.12

During the Covid-19 restrictions of 2020, the spirit of Hans Ulrich Obrist's Do It project never felt more relevant. The curator and Buffalo arts editor-at-large started Do It in 1993 as a travelling exhibition with an ever-expanding list of contributors, built through sets of instructions created by contemporary artists and freely available for anyone to interpret. Over the years, it also became a book, a public how-to guide for creating art that was part manual, part creative cookbook, and part do-it-yourself kit, and most recently, a fashion magazine: Buffalo does it.
