The Link

The Link is a newly opened community centre in South London. It uses an unusual location within the connecting spaces beneath a dual flyover in the heartof Thamesmead. As part of the overall identity for the centre, our brief was tocreate environmental graphics and wayfinding that would bring this vast concrete space to life in a positive and characterful way. Through workshops with local youth groups we created a series of positive messages that were applied throughout the centre. These expressions established the essence of the project and their playful nature carried on into the wayfinding.
