EDF produces a 97,8% carbon free electricity, it was naturally chosen to be the official renewable electricity supplier to Paris 2024. To help the Games halve its carbon footprint, EDF reinvented the Olympic Cauldron. Convinced that electricity is the only solution to move towards a CO2-neutral world, EDF invented a 100% electric flame for the Cauldron of Paris 2024. Revealed to the world during the opening ceremony, the Cauldron stayed in the Tuileries Garden to create an exclusive customer experience all summer. Millions of admirers came to see it during the day or rising at night.
