The Censored Exhibition

Social media algorithms blur distressing images to protect us. Most of us scroll past without a second thought. But for the people in those images, there's no filter, no protection. This is the everyday reality Médecins Sans Frontières witnesses, yet their images go unseen and the urgent work behind them unnoticed. So instead of letting these stories disappear behind a blur, we used that blur to expose them. The same filter designed to hide images online became the frame that revealed them offline. Six posters installed as a street gallery, each revealing the real story behind the blur.
