The 100th Edition

For 29 years, the F.A.Z. newspaper has advertised with its greatest asset: its readers. So far 99 well known personalities from politics, business, culture and sport have been photographed with their face hidden behind the newspaper, true to the claim "There is always a brilliant mind behind it”. As Germany saw the rise of right-wing extremism, racism and antisemitism in the last years, the F.A.Z. wanted to take a stand for humanity and tolerance with the 100th edition of its “brilliant minds” campaign. Therefor we asked 102-year-old Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer to be part of it.
