SWIM Magazine Issue 04

‘Found’ is the theme of the fourth and final instalment of SWIM Magazine. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s ‘Readymades’, this issue looks beyond the traditional idea of found objects in art, to consider the multitude of ways in which the notion of finding plays a role in creativity. This study in sometimes unorthodox interpretations of ‘Found’ explores how and why artists look for and use found objects; the implications of being found; how found objects are treated; the act of finding in the digital age and the creative process of finding.
