Sayakaboshi Elementary School

In pursuit of truly beneficial education for children, we challenged the conventional norms that have long governed Japanese education. The posters symbolic of this new concept was created to represent the spirit of Sayakaboshi Elementary School, were meticulously illustrated by hand to bring out the nostalgic textures of chalk and blackboard. To recreate the realistic effect of chalk on a chalkboard, we developed a unique printing process. Many layers of white ink were printed onto dark green, textured paper, with colors added last to precisely achieve a three-dimensional, chalk-like finish.
