PuffO2
PuffO2
PuffO2 is an active rescue mask for fire-induced inhalation injuries. Transcending passive oxygenation, it actively treats airway damage during the pre-hospital gap. By monitoring respiratory mechanics, it initiates a two-phase protocol: Phase 1 • Upper Airway Edema: Uses positive pressure to stent open the swollen larynx. • Lower Airway Spasm: Deploys bronchodilators to relieve constriction and secure the airway. Phase 2 Once obstruction subsides, it switches to high-concentration oxygen to maintain stable SpO2 until medical arrival.
