With strict rules from the IOC preventing brands from sponsoring Olympic athletes, they miss out on lucrative endorsement opportunities. As a sponsor of Team Canada, Molson wanted to find a way to get them paid. Enter: their parents. By flipping the traditional endorsement deal on its head, and featuring parents of the athletes, we were able to funnel the money through them, directly to the Team Canada athletes.
