In the darkness of an empty field, Shohei Ohtani trains alone. In black and white, under the floodlights, he punishes the pitching machine, refining each swing. A silhouette appears—another Shohei. He steps onto the mound and throws. First pitch, untouchable. Tension rises. Second pitch, the batter adjusts, but it’s not quite there. Ball after ball, the silent duel unfolds, until he finally outplays himself… and succeeds.
