Dentsu Tokyo designed a bench with a higher seat position compared to a typical bench, so there is no burden on the lower back when sitting down. It also has a high handrail so that people can stand up by holding on to it. Generally, handrails on benches are attached to prevent people from lying down on them, but these handrails are deliberately made high and raised in one piece from the foundation for practicality purposes.
