Mane Character Energy

Mane Character Energy is a studio self-promotional project that subverts Lunar New Year tradition. By turning the horse’s “mane” into a metaphor for being a “main character,” we shifted the focus from collective luck to personal identity. We commissioned a hairstylist to craft six bespoke horse wigs, reimagining the animal as a contemporary icon of individuality. These red packets are housed in an editorial lookbook with a mirror-metallic cover that reflects the recipient’s own narrative. The design uses original craft and custom typography to position the studio as a bold creative partner.
