Love Speech

To ignite a conversation, this raw, emotive film was released to call attention to the profoundly negative effects hurtful language has on the LGBTIQ+ community. Each participant was invited to recall the incredibly confronting and abusive names that have been given to them in their lives. The result was a film unlike anything that ANZ had ever put out before, and due to its strong performances had a wide and immediate impact. The film gained national coverage and raised questions not only around hate speech but also caused people to think more about casual homophobia in everyday life.
