Lonesome Traveler

Lonesome Traveller is a musical tribute that uses a modern rendition of an Egyptian classic. It follows a 12-year-old from Alexandria – the northernmost town in Egypt – as he leaves his friends behind to embark on a soul-crushing journey to Aswan – the southernmost town in Egypt – to undergo heart surgery at Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, one of the world’s most renowned heart facilities. The child and his family embark on a hectic journey to get to the foundation, switching between multiple means of transport to get to Aswan on time.
