Listen To The Voice Within Maze
Listen To The Voice Within Maze
In Malaysia, the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development reported 934 child abuse cases in 2000. By 2005, the number of reported cases had doubled to 1,800. This experiential maze was developed for Protect and Save The Children (NGO) to educate our children and empower them with their rights, and as a way to express their needs and feelings without fear. The three main topics addressed included building self-esteem, personal safety and understanding fear. To bring these topics to a child's level of understanding, we created related activities that were simple, fun and easy to understand. Use of colours, textures and environment manipulation further helped bring the messages to life.
