Kindling Issue 3

The Imagination Issue of Kindling magazine contains features on digital play, childhood fears, and the unwritten rules of children’s music, plus an interview with designer Cas Holman about why good toys make good people. It also features former California surgeon general Nadine Burke Harris discussing childhood traumas and what can be done to mitigate them. For issue three, Alex Hunting Studio continued to develop a distinct design aesthetic inspired by educational literature and exercise books, using the visual language of learning to engage both children and adults alike.
