Kama-Asa
Kama-Asa
Based on the policy of ‘good tools with a reason’, KAMA-ASA delivers the superb skills of kitchen tool craftsmen to customers. The skills of architectural craftsmen were emphasised in the space, so a design was created to highlight the deformed bars that would normally be hidden inside walls. The signage was designed using the motif of the traditional Japanese shop curtain (‘noren’). With a large noren outside, medium noren representing product, and small noren inviting customers, the entire shop communicates Japanese tradition and the artisanal manufacturing of craftsmen.
