Journal of Huiqin Chamber

The calligrapher Xia Jianfeng records his thoughts by handwritten notes. Handwriting is a part of his daily life and a source of relaxation. The binding of the book is inspired by the way in which Xuan paper, a traditional paper often used by the Chinese for handwriting and painting, is folded and packed. The design is intended to blend into readers' everyday life. The design is there, unobtrusive and warm, just like a roll of Xuan paper on a desk. Huiqin Chamber's white handwritten characters are silk screen printed on the edge of the book.
