Birds and Seasons

The cover of Birds and the Season takes 24 birds, Chinese poems and solar terms – the periods in the Chinese lunar calendar – and transforms them into a bird's nest. All of the bird illustrations were inspired by the paste-up technique, which informed the style of the entire work.
