Jonathan Safran Foer – Here I Am

The cover design is inspired by the plot of the novel, which describes three boys who are somewhat overlooked by their parents who are getting a divorce. The main feature is the designer’s daughter’s drawing with a large arrow – a visual symbol pointing out the small child “lost” between the buildings of New York City. The book cover stood out on display in bookstores thanks to its colour combinations. It caught the customers’ attention through the contrast of a child’s drawing on a book by an established, award-winning author for an adult, intellectual readership.
