With LaCroix owning the sparkling-water market, Pepsi’s new sparkling water, bubly, needed people to remember their name. Lucky for bubly, a very famous person had the same one -kind of. Michael Bublé became the star of our Super Bowl spot, wherein he’s convinced that “bubly” is pronounced “Bublé.” “Bublé”-ing things became a social phenomenon. People began to “Bublé” their own cans of bubly by adding an é, as other brands changed their names for the day, such as Amazon Primé. After the campaign, bubly became a household name and nearly doubled their growth in the sparkling-water market.
