Bihor Couture

Fashion house Dior included a Romanian jacket from Bihor in their couture collection and sold it for 30.000 euro. Nothing returned to the original creators, because no credit was given. To help authenticity survive, Beau Monde, a fashion magazine with 100% original Romanian content, decided to take a stand against cultural appropriation and launched BIHOR COUTURE, a brand that sells authentic fashion pieces and returns money to the communities. We launched a fashion content series, featuring our eccentric designers, and even invited Dior to Bihor, to join forces with local craftsmen.
