Intermache

One ordinary school day, shy Gabriel wakes up extraordinary. By the lockers, girls beg him to sit next to them on the bus. In class, someone applauds his famously terrible drawings. At lunch, he’s waved straight to the front of the queue. Picked first for football (despite running like a coat rack) he becomes a legend. On the school trip, chaos erupts over who gets to sit with him, until the teacher intervenes and claims Gabriel for himself. Gabriel shares his biscuits. Power, at last, has its perks.
