Immortal Jellyfish

Immortal Jellyfish

In March 2020, bars and restaurants in Paris closed indefinitely as France entered its first Covid-19 lockdown. Paname Brewing Company had 3,000 litres of fresh beer in its tanks, which is the equivalent of 6,000 pints. Paname has a zero waste policy, so instead of letting the beer expire and be thrown away, the brand instead distilled it into a pure spirit and launched a new product: Immortal Jellyfish Gin, named after a real species of jellyfish, the Turritopsis Dohrnii, which can regenerate new cells and technically never dies. The new product was released in 200 hand-numbered bottles.
