Homemade is Best

This book was designed as part of a campaign about IKEA’s kitchen appliances. While it’s hard to get people excited about fridges and fans, if you talk about all the tasty things you can make with them, like cookies and cakes, you have people’s attention. That’s why we made a baking book, with kitchen appliances in it. The idea of the book was to tone down the actual cakes and focus on the ingredients. Recipes are presented as graphic still-life portraits; when you turn the page you see the result.
