Heirloom
Heirloom
A father decides to pass on a very special heirloom to his son on the day he leaves for college. But instead of the expected watch or ring, the father hands him a chewed up piece of Stride gum straight from his mouth. The son, touched by his father’s gift, puts the gum in his mouth, smiles on discovering it still has flavour, and hugs his dad in appreciation. The spot closes with the following line: ‘The ridiculously long lasting gum. Stride’.
