First Shave Book

A survey conducted in Japan of 500 children between the ages of 12 and 15 found that 65.8% wanted to learn how to shave. The First Shave Book is a pamphlet containing shaving how-to guides and a Q&A of everything young adolescents want to know about body hair. Witty text and eye-catching illustrations helped to create a pamphlet that young people would actually want to read, while abstract patterns transformed the sensitive subject of body hair into a fun topic. The last page featured a cardboard cut out of a razor.
