Directing Shadows

The Japanese artist Moto Waganari asked us to build a virtual show- and salesroom to showcase his filigree polygon sculptures to a worldwide audience of art lovers. But the beautiful sculptures only come to life when they interact with light and shadow. We wanted viewers to experience the sculptures at their best, so turned the presentation of the pieces into a spatial installation. We built ‘Directing Shadows’, an interactive light gallery where light, sound and voice bring these objects to life and increase the desire to buy.
