McDonald’s has always done its best to keep prices low, but at the end of 2022, it had to raise them due to inflation. Fortunately, past McDonald’s deals can still be found on Google Street View. In mid-2022, Google Maps updated its mobile app, making it possible to revisit locations throughout history directly from your mobile phone. By advertising the campaign on the exact same billboards as old McDonald’s deals once were, Nord DDB Stockholm made it possible for anyone to claim them again in the McDonald’s app simply by scanning the QR code on the OOHs billboards.
