D&AD Congress Typeface

A bespoke typeface created for the D&AD Congress 2005 marketing campaign. The font was created by plotting points onto a computer monitor and then photographing them as they traced out on screen, the long exposure created areas of unexpected detail, and every exposure created a different version of the typeface which was used across all the applications. Various icons were also drawn as part of the font set including the Yellow Pencil.
