Buffering

In a smart use of YouTube's pre-roll ad format, this film turns the all too familiar buffering wheel into a comedy vehicle. The piece shows viewers the real reason videos can take so long to load. It turns out the buffering wheel isn't an animation, but a physical cog in a large machine operated by a comical old lady. She repeatedly asks her colleague to load the video but, conveniently, he's lost in the taste of Cadbury 5 Star Chocolate. Eventually the video is loaded up, a huge projector rotates toward the screen and the viewer's desired video begins.
