Karen Hughes is Co-founder and Creative Director at the recently formed Edit_ Brand Studio, an independent brand consultancy and design studio based in the UK. Previously Creative Director at True North, Karen is an award-winning designer, with over 14 years experience working at two of the top creative agencies in the UK. After graduating from the University of Lancashire in 2004 as a D&AD New Blood winner, Karen began her career at The Chase before joining True North six years later. Over the past few years Karen has worked on a wide variety of branding projects for clients including Marks and Spencer, British Council, Sport England, National Portrait Gallery, Science Museum, Wellcome Collection and National Trust. Karen's work has featured in the D&AD annual over a number of years and has also been recognised by many of the major national and international design awards including Design Week, Creative Review, New York Festivals and DBA....
