I am a nimble and proactive multidisciplinary illustrator. I have a ferocious appetite for process and a dogged willingness to learn and develop new skills. Over my degree, I have balanced my needs as a maker with the drive to achieve and work hard at my illustration practice. As a result of this, it is a synthesis between 3D and 2D, striving to creatively reduce & simplify images in forms. I am prompted by the ideology of the Bauhaus. My main visual focuses are shape & the human form. I am a conceptual thinker and can plan out how to laser cut a sculpture as easily as I can draft 100 metaphorical thumbnails for an editorial brief.
I’m a stubborn eccentric who can’t resist a challenge. I’m a born maker, drawn to tactile practices like ceramics but equally capable of using software to conceptualise and plan out my creations. I strive to be unique. If I see something and think “I could make that myself”, I often have. I’ve visually curated myself and my environment over the years, so it’s no shock that I am a capable designer with an edge informed by my background in Illustration.
I'm currently working as a Marketing Assistant on a placement creating social media content & learning more about product photography and Art Direction.
