About
His love of sound and music began as a child. At home he would sing to his favourite songs using a pencil as a mike. He would salvage broken loudspeakers and create new ones that regularly destroyed his amplifier. Using a guitar he got as a present and later on a cheap Bontempi organ, he began composing his first music. In hindsight it was probably the most boring pieces of music in the world. At 17, with money he earned by delivering newspapers he was finally able to buy the first analog synthesizer. While his friends bought cars and expensive leatherjackets, he invested in electronic music instruments. Something his friends could not understand. At the age of 18 he started as a trainee in a recording studio in Cologne. As a sound engineer he recorded all kinds of music and started commissioned compositions. Then he moved to Düsseldorf to work in advertising. ...
