As a sessional Lecturer and Tutor at RMIT University, I have very proudly seen students achieve D&AD recognition, for many different briefs over a number of years. This started in 2011, when I attended my first D&AD Festival with my pencil-winning students and has continued through to 2025, with the latest cohort of D&AD award recipients. It's always a thrill for me to see students pitch their skills on the global stage and proudly hold their own. D&AD continues to provide an aspirational benchmark for students and tutors alike. As a copywriter, working in the industry, I love the real life challenges it provides, the scope of talent it recognises and the opportunity to shine that it gives all entrants.
