Type designers have a longstanding love affair with the term “hamburgerfonts,” a lexical oddity containing a variety of letter shapes that showcase different aspects of a typeface. Inspired by its infamous namesake, Hamburgerfonts is a typeface specimen cooked up to showcase the typefaces by Contrast Foundry (aka CoFo). The specimen showcases each font, dividing the typefaces into 3 categories. Utilizing the format of a mix-and-match children’s book, the unique format allows readers to create their own delicious creations by combining various typefaces, leaving readers hungry for more.
