Meanwhile, several sports, such as sumo and baseball, still don’t offer female athletes equal opportunities to keep playing these sports. Nike’s Play New, New Girl campaign film demonstrated that, despite these barriers, there is a generation of powerful athletes and activists pushing Japan into a fairer and free future.
