Scott Split Plus: The World's Fastest Helmet

Time Trial racing - essentially the 100m dash for cycling - is revered by historic races such as the Tour de France. However, every racer is required to wear something that actually slows them down - the helmet. Using data and riders as a guide, Scott Sports and Huge compressed the teardrop shaped helmet into a more compact form, creating a shape that is aerodynamic in multiple positions, not just one. The result, the Scott Split Plus, is the first human-centric aero helmet in the industry with Scott’s lowest drag coefficient, ever, helping Annemeik Van Vleuten win the World Time Trial Championship.
