Yingting Shih: Creative Revelation of Nature
Yingting Shih: Creative Revelation of Nature
Photograph Description 1 Creative Revelation of Nature is a project about seeing nature from a totally different way. To me, photography is a creative revelation of daily life. In this series, I try to uncover the unnoticed but beautiful nature in our world from an innovative perspective. This image was shot in Taoyuan, Taiwan. They are very small plants in a pond. Water drops inside plants look like pearls. Photograph Description 2 This image was shot in Kaoshiung, Taiwan. They are seedlings and their reflection at the farm. Hollow-out patterns look like bowling pins. Photograph Description 3 This image was shot in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Water waves on the surface of a pond look like swimming salmons. Photograph Description 4 This image was shot in Taichung, Taiwan. It is the rotten skin of a giant tree and looks like an aerial view of an original village. Photograph Description 5 This image was shot in Nantou, Taiwan. They are betel palms on the mountain. It seems like it is raining cats and dogs. Photographer's Profile I am a full time assistant professor of China University of Technology, Taiwan and also an adjunct assistant professor of College of Communication, National Chengchi University. I have won Outstanding Award Of Technological And Vocational Education, Taiwan (the highest honor of TVE).
