Chiara Grabmayr: Moonjourney

Film Description We address the european people during the ongoing refugee crisis. The spot should invoke people to act like humans and welcome refugees. The idea was to let the father tell a fairy tale that is going to protect his child from any trauma and lets the escape become a game. Therefore we found for all parts of their journey equivalents for a trip to the moon. Sadly reality is crossing the fairy tale. Director's Profile Chiara Grabmayr was born and raised in Vienna. Currently she lives in Munich, where she studied directing at university of television and film munich. Chiara wrote and directed shortfilms which were screened at festivals around the world.
