Routine Republic

Overlooking the dystopian “Routine Republic,” we see military clowns monitoring people’s every move. Soulless people line up for the same breakfast: a bland, circular sandwich. Our hero shuffles forward and unfolds a flyer reading, “Defect.” He exchanges a nod with his friend and they make a break for it. Clown guards give chase down yellow, winding slides. The clown czar watches it all unfold on CCTV. Dodging toy land mines and reaching the outer wall, they are faced with one last obstacle. Finding a hole hidden behind propaganda, they escape to freedom and the next generation of breakfast.
