The brief was to recruit medical students worthy of a Defence Force University Sponsorship. To find the best we created medically diagnosable advertising, which doubled as an entrance exam. ‘Mobile Medic’ allowed students to use a range of diagnostic techniques to identify and treat medical conditions using their smartphones. Visual and audio augmentation immersed them in the role of Medical Officer, on real Defence Force scenarios. Students entered their details and received their results instantly. Those who performed best were offered a Defence Force University Sponsorship application.
