Rainbow in your hand

This book started as a personal design experiment, and was published by the Japanese bookstore Utrecht in 2008. I wanted to introduce a new dimension to flipbooks, which have always been about creating animations by flipping through consecutively illustrated pages. In this book, I created a 3D rainbow using the arch-shaped afterimage that appears in between the pages when the flipbook is flipped.
