The DXL body protection line offers an innovative approach to sports safety equipment. Its central tenet is that the protective elements of safety gear should not dominate a user's experience: protection should be there when you need it and not get in the way when you do not. Through inventive use of lightweight, impact absorbing 3-D mesh, DXL is engineered to be breathable and flexible, and is designed to free the body from the restrictions of traditional hard-shell protection. The pliable 3-D mesh material was developed to be impact-resistant through thousands of vertical filaments that create protective volume and decelerate impact, while maintaining the material's characteristics of air circulation, openness and lightness.
