Buzz! The Big Quiz

'Buzz! The Big Quiz' is a general knowledge quiz game that uses four bespoke USB buzzers instead of the usual PlayStation2 dual shock controllers, enabling four players to play at once. The game itself is set in the familiar format of a TV gameshow with the contestants behind podiums. Questions appear on a jumbotron and are introduced by the show's enigmatic host, Buzz. Gameplay is split over a series of rounds, designed to pit player against player. Quiz games have universal appeal, but few before 'Buzz! The Big Quiz' have delivered their simplicity, production values and entertainment in a videogame format. It is a good example of a game that reaches past the hardcore videogamer and engages the whole family.
