Gimme the Ball

A young ‘chav’ couple from a nearby housing estate imagine a rampaging football fantasy through an adjacent forest. They are joined by a rabble of pros, street ballers, medics and linesmen in a Tolkien-esque world inhabited by flying chickens, animated tree roots and rabid devil dogs, each attempting to impede their progress. Finally, all the characters are composed perfectly into a Delacroix-like canvas, before the scene cuts back to reality.
