The Blocked Party is in continuation of the #DoWhatMovesYou campaign. It attracts 18 to 24 year olds to experience the Bacardi culture of music, togetherness and true liberation.
This idea aimed at targeting those individuals who can't travel for music festivals because they have to work or because they can't afford it. The Blocked Party is an event that aims to occur in cities which are not typically considered to be "party" destinations or are less frequented by other music festivals. Bacardi takes over an entire neighbourhood block so that our audience can go house to house experiencing different types of music and DJ's and parties. These are parties occurring all over the world and shared all over social media so that our audience can re-live it at any time. There will also be hologram performances where people from other parts of the world may also experience the same even if the artists are unable to arrive there in person. Through this event music fans get to choose the artist they would like to host and have them perform for their desired guest list.
Through this event, Bacardi reaches their audience directly and creates one idea into one sensational summer moment.
