A single cotton t-shirt uses up 2400 liters of water, meaning the amount wasted by the football sector in renewing and selling new t-shirts every year is just ridiculous, especially now that global warming and droughts threaten our access to such an important necessity. For this reason, Sport4Climate will partner with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club in an initiative where their new kit is just a white t-shirt with their names handwritten on them, in order to stop the water waste. Fans will be encouraged to do the same, making the team's new t-shirt sustainable, affordable and accessible to all.
