An average Filipino family just can't afford an e-book. But they do have older generation analog phones, which Smart, the country's largest telco would soon turn into a new kind e-reader. Existing school texts where condensed and programmed into the inboxes of their older surplus sim cards.When loaded into any cellphone, it effectively turned it into a light and handy school book. We called this low-tech solution TXTBKS.
