Trial by Timeline

To launch their new positioning – ‘Protect the Human’ – and to raise awareness of their work, Amnesty wanted ordinary New Zealanders to be able to imagine what it might be like to live without basic human rights. With this brief in mind, we created ‘Trial by Timeline’: a Facebook application that scans users' Timelines, showing them what certain comments or behaviours might cost them in other countries. This way participants can see how they could be persecuted just for being themselves.
